A Sunday Hike

Its not very often that all seven members of my family are under the same roof together. Its actually become quite rare. But I came home this weekend to work, and was reluctantly greeted with 6 of some of my favorite faces. To celebrate, we decided to go on a little family hike & dinner party. I couldn't have asked for a better Sunday after working 20+ hours this past weekend. We were hesitant to go since it was a little rainy, but I'm so glad we did. The occasional sprinkles cooled us off and the cloudy, overcast sky made for the perfect photos.

Finally making it to the top!

I've lived here for years and years and have yet to get over it.

After "teamworking" down the slippery rocks, we decided to head to an overlook close by- we sat for a few minutes and just kind of zoned out. Oh, and we saw a little bebe pug called Chloe. Have I mentioned I want one? Its a thing, guys.

Say hi to Chloe, everyone.

We then went to a brewery called Wild Wolf for dinner. I had no idea it even existed!! I definitely need to go back- it was so lovely & so needed after our hike. We were starved and the food/beer was delicious! If you're ever in the area, its worth a try for sure. And for the record-- the pork bbq and fried oreos were on point. Like woah good.
