See You Bye 2011
As we welcome in 2012, I feel its always smart to reflect on the year that's passing. It allows you to question how you acted, and decide on what you liked or disliked, so hopefully you can create room for change in the future. But first of all, have you seen this?
It makes you begin to think about all the things you've accomplished over the span of one year, huh?
For me, 2011 was awesome, but so much has changed since last January. It was a year of growth, acceptance, and risk. I feel that I've grown as a person, and have reached new, much deeper levels of relationships with my family. The past year has helped me learn to accept my flaws, and love myself as a person. I've had to make important decisions that will impact my future, and trust that my instincts and the big man upstairs will see them through. 2011 was also a year of firsts. I graduated, traveled to Europe, ate sushi, stayed up all night, got an A on my first college paper, bought a lottery ticket, watched all ten seasons of Friends, and splurged on a pair of cheetah Sperry's. It was so wonderful, and I'm sad to see 2011 go, but I can't wait to see what 2012 has in store.
New Years Resolutions:
- Figure out my major.
- Stay in shape for me.
- Listen more, talk less.
- Paint my fingernails more often.
