Day One

Hello everyone, happy weekend!

I don't know about you guys, but I'm one of those people who keeps an ongoing mental tab of things I want to accomplish later down the road-- whether that be within the next week, the next month, or two years from now. Having a goal in front of you keeps you working towards something, keeps you moving, keeps you constantly improving. And because I've basically written down the rest of my life down in lists, I might as well write my goals down too.

So, today I'm adding a new addition to this blog! Its called the 101 in 1001 challenge. I'm sure many of my fellow bloggers know what I'm talking about, but just in case, let me explain. 101 in 1001 refers to 101 goals in 1001 days. Its cool because while most bucket lists are meant for a lifetime, this one has a time frame. 1001 days. The structure has allowed me to think more realistically, since its a little easier to picture where I want to be in roughly 2.75 years versus 60.

I have posted my 101 goals under a tab at the top of the page. I invite you all to take a look and track my progress! I've calculated it out, so the 1001 days should end a little over a month before I graduate. Crazy stuff. Oh, and I definitely encourage you all to make your own list! Its quite fun thinking about actually doing some of the things you've always wanted to accomplish. And writing it down makes them more real. (Just send me a link so I can check out your goals, too!)

Oh, and now I'm beginning to think like this :)
